Alicia C Miller was my mother, my best friend and we were the Brokers of the business. She passed away in 2004. Mom had been licensed in Syracuse prior to moving back here to her home Town of Wells.She opened an office in our family home on Griffin Rd. in 1982. I was licensed while the office was in our home in 1989 so I could take office calls for the business.I became serious about selling real estate and started working real estate as my full time job. We Incorporated and moved the office to 1330 Main St. Wells NY in 1993 and 34 years later here I am. This is my full time job and I love working with people. We have a reputation for Honesty. We have a history of bringing buyers and sellers together. Stop in and meet us. The business is celebrating 41 years.

In 1995,I came to the Adirondacks to spend 1 summer visiting my family in Lake Pleasant. Twenty-Eight years later I am still here! Aside from helping people find and sell real estate since 2006, I also enjoys playing and teaching golf. Currently the Director of the Hamilton County Department of Economic Development and Tourism, a Councilperson for the Town of Arietta, and the Executive Director of the Hamilton County Industrial Development Agency. In my "spare" time I volunteers as an EMT for the Piseco Ambulance. I feel "there is something very special about understanding the needs of a buyer and seller and putting the two together. It is really wonderful to see a new buyer discovering the beauty of the Adirondacks, but also sad to see dear friends sell and leave. My best advice to buyers and sellers is to go with your gut. I was born and raised in Wells NY, where I currently reside here with my husband and two children. I became a real estate agent in 2020, as I love working with people and helping them better understand the process of buying and selling in the Adirondacks. I currently work as the Hamilton County Probation Director, where I have been employed for 21 years. Living and working in Hamilton County, has given me so much knowledge of this beautiful area and how wonderfully unique we really are here. I am very happy to be a part of Alicia C. I have been licensed with the office for 38 years. Alicia was my Mother and I was licensed a few years after she opened the office.I graduated from Paul Smith College with a degree in forestry. I am the assessor for Wells,Hope,and Benson. I also own my own carpentry business and I love the outdoors.
